Techna can supply the individual Rolling Heads that are used in our Rolling Mill Stations. These include a 4-fold profiling head universally applicable to many kinds of profile wire, a 6-fold profiling head for hexagonal wire or special profiles, a ribbing head for ribbing of reinforcement or pre-stressed steels, reduction heads for cross section reduction of round wires, a rounding head for rolling the edges on flat wires and a turks head for rolling rectangular or square profiles.
WN Series - 4-Fold Profiling Head
The WN Series profiling head has four rolls in one plane, which is individually adjustable by hand. It has an optional quick release for effortless wire threading and is universally applicable to many kinds of profile wire.
WF Series - Ribbing Head
The WF Series ribbing head has three rolls in one plane, which is individually adjustable by hand. It has an optional motorised roll adjustment for all three rolls synchronously and are generally used for ribbing of reinforcement or pre-stressed steels. They are also ideally suitable for the production of triangular or hexagonal (in two steps) profiles.
WA Series - 6-Fold Profiling Head
The WA Series profiling head has six rolls in one plane and is suitable for hexagonal wire profile or for special profiles, e.g. for the production of nails.
WB Series - Reduction Head
The WB Series reduction head has two roll pairs in two different planes that can process the wire sequentially and is suitable e.g. for cross section reduction of round wire with a round to oval then back to round sequence.
WKA Series - Reduction Roller Cassette
The WKA Series reduction roller cassette has two roll pairs in two different planes that can process the wire sequentially, similarly to the WB Series reduction head, but a far more compact design. This roller cassette is suitable for cross section reduction of round wires as an alternative to drawing dies.
WR Series - Rounding Head
The WR Series rounding head is used for rolling edge radii on flat wires. The rolls can be adjusted by hand and has an optional quick release for effortless wire threading or motorised roll adjustment. The combination of two WR Series roll heads produces the same possibilities as the WB or WKA Series.
WT Series - Turks Head
The WT Series turks head has four rolls in one plane and is the universal head for rolling rectangular and square profiles with just one standard roll set, without having to change rolls. With the use of profiled rolls, special profiles can also be produced.
