Techna offer a range of motorised Shaft Take-Ups / Coilers, for cable and wire winding and spooling, available in various sizes to handle drums up to 10,000kg capacity. Our BOB-MAT and CD series of shaft take-ups and coilers are offered in many different configurations with various accessories available, including coiling heads, electro-hydraulic lifting and measuring devices, preset counters, disc brakes with calipers and motor driven wheels.
BOB-MAT Shaft Take-Ups / Coilers
The BOB-MAT-M and BOB-MAT-MF are a range of motorised shaft take-ups and coilers that are suitable for drums between 600mm - 1000mm diameter with up to 700kg capacity. They come complete with the OA-10Q-60 measuring device, suitable for measuring cables between 5mm - 60mm diameter.
The BOB-MAT-MF versions are the same as the BOB-MAT-M, but with an additional extractable small shaft for 100mm - 500mm diameter drums with 0 - 120 rpm variable speed and a continuously rolling permanently mounted coiling head with an 800mm or 1000mm outside diameter.
Both the BOB-MAT-M and BOB-MAT-MF have versions available that include either the PLC or SP-08 automatic cable layering system. The BOB-MAT range of shaft take-ups / coilers provide:

• Self-locking nylon wheels
• Manual hydraulic pump lift
• Fixed shaft (drum change by moving machine)
• Small extractable shaft for 100mm - 500mm diameter drums (BOB-MAT-MF versions only)

CD Series Shaft Take-Ups / Coilers
The CD-15 M3, CD-22 M3, CD-40 M3 and CD-100 M3 are a range of motorised shaft take-ups and coilers that cover drum diameters from 600mm to 2600mm with between 3,000kg to 10,000kg capacity. They come complete with the OA-10Q-60 Measuring Device, that is suitable for measuring cables between 5mm - 60mm diameter.
The CD series have versions available that include the SE-1 electro-hydraulic lifting device and the TC-1-60 or TC-100 electro-hydraulic cutting device. There are also many other accessories available, such as, a range of coiling heads, preset counters and pivoted rear wheels. The CD series of shaft take-ups / coilers provide:
