Techna’s extensive range of snap-in rocker switches are available in 1 to 4 pole, up to 26A, non-illuminated or illuminated, with a wide range of coloured, translucent and two-colour rocker and paddle actuator styles, in various sizes, voltages, circuits and termination. We also offer custom colours and legends for most of our rocker switches.
Our rocker switches are suitable for a wide variety of applications, including appliances, automation, commercial food, construction machinery, lighting, marine, medical equipment, military, telecommunications, test equipment and transportation. Certifications include UL, CSA and VDE.
Sealed Rocker Switches
Our sealed rocker switches are available in 1 or 2 pole, from 0.4A to 20A, with vertical or horizontal orientations and are certified up to IP68. Each sealed rocker switch series offers a comprehensive range of actuator styles, including paddle and locking options and are configurable with a variety of circuits, illumination options and standard or customisable laser etched legends.
The V-Series Contura Sealed Rocker Switches set the industry standard for sealed switches and are well known for their cutting edge design, high quality, maximum performance and unmatched reliability. These IP66/IP68 switches are also recognised to UL1500 Ignition Protection for marine products.
Our VP-Series Contura Sealed Indicators are an additional design option for our V-Series switches, featuring removable and replaceable lamps, Contura styling and LED illumination. A one-piece polarised connector is available, to assure simple economical installation.
The J-Series Contura Sealed Rocker Switches are designed for marine and heavy vehicle applications that require multiple circuits in one switch. These IP66/68 switches offer the same features as the V-Series, but with more complex circuit options.
Our L-Series Sealed Rocker Switches feature various locking rocker and paddle actuator options, offering a unique balance between aesthetics and functionality. These IP67 switches have front panel component sealing and are available with bi-colour LEDs.
The LP-Series Sealed Indicators complement the aesthetics, reliability and performance of the L-Series and illuminate to alert the operator of essential system functions or malfunctions. Options include translucent or laser-etched inserts and a one-piece polarised connector.
Our W-Series Fully Sealed Rocker Switches feature complete IP68 protection, even below the panel where the connection is made. When used in conjunction with the integrated connectors, they provide a seal for up to ten individual wires, assuring compatibility with even the most complex circuitry.
Miniature and Sub-Miniature Rocker Switches
Our miniature and sub-miniature rocker switches include non-sealed and sealed versions and are available with a variety of rocker and paddle actuator styles and colours, circuits, contact materials, termination and mounting options. The 1M-Series Miniature Rocker Switches are available in 1 to 3 pole, from 0.4A to 5A and the 1S-Series Sub-Miniature Rocker Switches are available in 1 or 2 pole, from 0.4A to 3A.
Small-Sized Rocker Switches
Our small-sized rocker switches are available in 1 or 2 pole, from 0.4A to 12A, with various solid coloured and two-colour rocker and paddle actuators and are configurable with a variety of circuits, illumination options and termination. Our small-sized rocker switch range includes the double insulated 610/620-Series Rocker Switches, the most popular 611/621-Series Rocker Switches, the high-inrush 622/632-Series Rocker Switches and the shallow base 651/652-Series Rocker Switches.
Mid-Sized Rocker Switches
Our Curvette switches have become the benchmark for versatility and performance in the switch market and are available in single pole, from 10A to 20A and with a wide range of rocker and paddle actuators. The Curvette range includes the original non-illuminated R/RSC-Series Rocker Switches and the illuminated LRA-Series Rocker Switches. We also offer a Super Curvette range, which are double pole versions of the R/RSC-Series and includes the non-illuminated RGSC-Series Rocker Switches and the illuminated LRGSC-Series Rocker Switches.
The non-illuminated T-Series Rocker Switches and illuminated LTA-Series Rocker Switches are single pole, rated from 5A to 20A and are predecessors to the Curvette series. These switches are available with various rocker and paddle actuator styles which appeal to a wide range of markets.
Our mid-sized Tippette switches are rated from 5A to 20A and available with a variety of non-illuminated and illuminated rocker or paddle actuators. The TG/LTG-Series Rocker Switches are available in 1 to 2 pole and feature an all nylon double insulated construction, the TLG-Series Rocker Switches are single pole and feature an adjacent indicator light and the TTG-Series Rocker Switches consist of two single pole switches in a 2 pole base.
The RR/LRR-Series Round Rocker Switches are single pole, rated from 6A to 12A and available with standard or custom actuator legends. Our illuminated LRR version is offered with neon or incandescent illumination, with red, green, amber or white translucent rockers.
Full-Sized Rocker Switches
The LS-Series Rocker Switches are single pole, rated from 10A to 15A and feature a three colour high brightness light sequence, from a single lamp. These switches are designed with a standard nylon snap-in bracket and “Drip-Dry” construction that protects the front panel from dust and moisture.
Our Tippette Series Rocker Switches are traditionally styled, available in 1 to 4 pole and rated from 10A to 26A. The non-illuminated TI-Series, illuminated LTIL-Series and illuminated LTIG-Series feature snap-in or screw type mounting brackets, whereas our illuminated LTIH-Series feature steel snap-in or screw type mounting brackets.
