Relays

Techna offer a wide range of Relays, used in electrical control circuits to provide a switching function by controlling the flow of electrical current in a circuit, allowing for safe and reliable operation. These electromagnetic switches allow a small electrical signal to control a larger electrical current or voltage.

Our relay range includes Industrial, Miniature, Slim Interface and Interface Module Relays, that are suitable for PCB, panel and DIN-rail mounting. These relays consist of an electromagnet (coil), a set of contacts and a spring mechanism.

Our relays are crucial components in electrical systems, providing isolation, control and protection in a wide range of applications, including industrial automation, power distribution systems, control panels, automotive electronics, lighting systems, heating elements, HVAC systems, telecommunications and other electrical devices.

We also supply a range of accessories for our industrial, miniature and interface module relays, including plug-in DIN-rail Relay Sockets for DIN-rail mounting and LED Relay Modules.

Miniature Relays

Our Miniature Relays are for PCBs and suitable for general purpose applications. They are available with 1 or 2 changeover contacts and in coil voltages up to 240V AC and 110V DC. Various accessories are available, including plug-in sockets for mounting on DIN-rail, a retaining clip and a description plate.

We also offer a Miniature Relay that comes pre-assembled with a plug-in socket, retaining clip and description plate.

Industrial Relays

We offer Industrial Relays with 2 or 3 changeover contacts and Miniature Industrial Relays with 2 or 4 changeover contacts. Our industrial relays are available in coil voltages up to 240V AC and 220V DC and are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. Plug-in sockets are also available to enable DIN-rail or panel mounting.

Slim Interface Relays

Our Slim Interface Relays are ideal for tight spaces due to the compact width of 6.2mm. The slim design of our interface relays allows for efficient utilisation of limited space in control panels or other electrical equipment in various industrial and general purpose applications. Our slim interface relays are available with 1 changeover contact and with coil voltages from 12V to 240V AC and 6V to 24V DC.

Interface Module Relays

Techna’s range of 2, 4 or 8 channel Interface Module Relays are available with 1 or 2 changeover contacts and use 1N4007 free-wheeling (flyback) diodes as a method of protecting the relay. Our next generation of compact, fully enclosed IP20 interface module relays are available with coil voltages 24V, 100V, 230V AC and 12V, 24V DC.

The modular design of our interface relays can have custom configurations for up to 32 channels, which is achievable when using an optional extension cable, making them suitable for a wide range of industries.
