Techna offers a wide range of user-friendly solutions for installing cable, with equipment such as, Anti-Tangle Cassette Systems for tangle-free dispensing, small Mobile Trollies and large Trolley systems that are equipped with anti-tangle cassettes, Nylon Rod Shooters for inserting and recovering cable and Conduit Preparation Stations for conduit up to 50mm diameter.
Anti-Tangle Cable Systems
Techna offer TRONIC Anti-Tangle Systems for clean and compact tangle-free dispensing which can significantly reduce installation time. With our user-friendly anti-tangle systems, it is possible to simply lay down the TRONIC cassette anywhere and pull off the required cable. The cable is coiled under a pressure plate and cannot become tangled inside the cassette.
We also offer the TRONIC+B Anti-Tangle System, which has two TRONIC cassettes mounted on a simple holder in order to unwind more cables at the same time. It can be used in either the horizontal or vertical position.
TRONIC Cassette and Reel Holder Trollies
We offer a range of trollies which come equipped with our TRONIC and TRONIC+B anti-tangle cassettes. The CAR12M Mobile Trolley is equipped with 6 TRONIC+B cassettes and our CAR12COM Compact Mobile Trolley is equipped with 12 TRONIC cassettes, both have painted steel tubular frames.
The SVM TRONIC48 Trolley is complete with 48 TRONIC cassettes and the SVM TRONIC+B18 Trolley is complete with 18 TRONIC+B cassettes, both have painted steel frames with turning wheels and side handles.
We also offer the CAR 6B Reel Holder Trolley for six reels up to 400mm diameter, with a reel hole of a minimum 18mm diameter.
Nylon Rod Shooter
We offer the LANCORD Nylon Rod Shooter, which is a special tool for inserting and recovering cable. It can be fitted to virtually any corded or cordless electric drill and incorporates a 20 metre, steel wire reinforced, nylon rod which can be shot into or pulled out of conduits, with a maximum pull of 25kg force. The cable is attached to the nylon rod and pulled through the conduit quickly, cleanly and efficiently, providing fast cable installation, with clear cost savings.
Our rod shooters are held away from holes in the wall, therefore, operators can work in complete safety, avoiding the usual cuts, scratches and abrasions associated with feeding cable by hand. Operators can also access conduits at virtually all levels from floor to ceiling.
Techna’s LANCORD Nylon Rod Shooters are built in light alloy and have an automatic winding box for the nylon rod.
Conduit Preparation Stations
We can also offer Conduit Preparation Stations for the preparation of conduits up to 50mm diameter, which can be operated by one person. These painted steel conduit preparation stations feature a coiling head to wind the prepared conduit, a winder for rod up to 100m and 200mm diameter wheels for easy manoeuvrability.
