DIN-Rails

Techna offer three types of steel DIN-Rail that are used for mounting components, such as, MCBs, RCCBs, RCBOs, Terminals, DIN-Rail Enclosures and other DIN-Rail mounting electrical and industrial control components, inside equipment cabinets, racks and control panels.

Our DIN-Rails are made of steel in accordance with DIN VDE 0311 part 3 and are permissible as grounding busbars (PE function), but do not have PEN function. The DIN-Rails are zinc plated and chrome passivated.

All our DIN-Rails are available in 1 metre lengths as standard. Special pre-cut lengths with holes or slots as per customer requirements can be supplied on request.

Din 32 - G Type

The Din 32 is a 32mm wide G type DIN-Rail that is suitable for mounting larger or heavier components. These DIN-Rails comply with European standard EN 50 0035 and are available slotted or unslotted.

Din 35 - Top Hat Type

The industry standard Din 35 is a 35mm wide Top Hat type DIN-Rail that is available either 7.5mm deep or 15mm deep (Din 35-15). These DIN-Rails comply with European standards EN 50 022 and are available slotted or unslotted.

Din 15 - Miniature Top Hat Type

The Din 15 is a 15mm wide Miniature Top Hat type DIN-Rail that is ideally suited for mounting Micro Terminals. These DIN-Rails comply with European standard EN 50 045 and only available slotted.

Angled DIN-Rail Brackets

Angled DIN-Rail Brackets are also available for installing DIN-Rails at an angle to help facilitate better access and for adding more clearance from the surface of the panel. These DIN-Rail Brackets are zinc plated and chromate passivated.
