Thermal Circuit Breakers

Techna offer a wide range of ‘Push to Reset’ single pole thermal circuit breakers, which provide thermal overload and short circuit protection for applications including single phase motors, transformers, UPS, power strips and solenoids etc. Our thermal circuit breakers are small and compact in size and are available in current ratings from 0.5A to 45A both AC and DC applications.

T16 Thermal Circuit Breakers

Our range of T16 Series Thermal Circuit Breakers are single pole push to reset circuit breakers based on a proven snap-acting bimetallic thermal sensing element system, that accurately senses overload conditions and interrupts the flow of the current. The resettable actuator mechanism then remains disengaged until manually reset.

The T16 Series Thermal Circuit Breakers are available in a wide range of current ratings from 3A to 45A and are suitable for a diversity of applications. These thermal circuit breakers are carefully calibrated and tested to ensure reliable performance under a variety of operating conditions.

We also offer various accessories for our range of T16 thermal circuit breakers, such as nameplates, hex nuts, knurl nuts, integrated knurl nuts and dust caps.

TR11 Thermal Circuit Breakers

Our range of TR11 Series Thermal Circuit Breakers are single pole push to reset thermally operated overload protectors, which provide reliable, trip-free operation on overloads and short circuits, within the maximum breaking capacity specified. The latching trip mechanism maintains a high contact force preventing contact bounce and reducing the risk of contact welding.

Our TR11 Series Thermal Circuit Breakers are available in current ratings from 0.5A to 16A, have three different button print configurations and are suitable for a wide range of applications.

We can also offer an optional TR11DC1 Dust Cap for our range of TR11 thermal circuit breakers.
